The Shops at Willow Bend, Plano, Texas was built in 2001, the last enclosed mall in Texas. It always struggled, opening shortly before 9/11 and the dot.com burst were key factors, along with its proximity to the establised Galleria Dallas only 7 miles away.
The mall closed at the end of Augist 2026, I visited and photographed it on the last weekend that it was open.
